Technological Details
- Ratio of the shaft diameter to center distance is 0.35 times which results in more strength of the shaft. Hence more power can be transmitted. Whereas in other blowers it is hardly 0.20 times resulting in breakage or twisting of the shaft.
- Ratio of overall diameter of the Rotary lobes or impellers to the center distance is less resulting in less momentum, less frictional horsepower losses and less load on the bearings.
- All the Beta Blowers have large oil sumps on drive and non-drive ends. Hence the limiting speed of all the Beta Blowers is much better as compared to others. On both side oil lubrication is one of the factor due to which Beta Blowers are meant for high RPMS and effective power savings.
- As most of the breakdowns takes place due to higher limits of the vibrations in rotating equipments but in Beta Blowers the legs are provided in the casing itself due to which the vibration factor does not act directly on the bearings resulting in less breakdowns and longer life of the bearings.
- Beta Blowers are more sturdy and reliable as compared to other types i.e. more suitable for heavy or continous duties. Thickness of each casting material is more in Beta Blowers as compared to other brands.
- All the Beta Blowers are left hand drive due to which the gears always remain in uncompressive position enhancing a smooth and steady operation.
- Beta Blowers are supplied with spring-loaded safety valve mounted on the discharge end of the blower which requires less maintenance compared to dead weight safety valve. Beta
- Blowers are mostly suitable for running at higher speeds up to 4000 RPM whereas other blowers of similar construction runs maximum up to 2000 RPM.Beta Blowers are provided with angular contact ball bearings at Non-drive end which eliminates the chances of shifting of the lobes or rotors to either side. Hence it eliminates the chances of breakdowns. Noise level of Beta Blowers is comparatively less as compared to other brands of same construction. There is no air leakage through shaft in Beta Blowers.
